This antique Brush McCoy Pottery tobacco jar, dating back to 1915, features the highly sought-after Woodlands (also known as Sylvan) pattern. The makers used brown glazed pottery and adorned it with detailed relief work depicting trees and a fence scene. This piece, model 107, is a prime example of early 20th-century American pottery and a valuable collectible for enthusiasts of vintage stoneware and Brush McCoy pieces. It is in used condition consistent with its age; no cracks, but it has some chips under the lid, around the rim, and one paint chip. See photos. Measures approximately 6" Tall and 4" Wide.
